Privacy Policy

The short version: if you send me a message through the contact page I keep what you typed so I can reply, and if you tick the texting box I keep a record of that so I can text you and prove you said yes. I don't sell your data and I never will.

Who runs this site

This site is run by Will Whitehead. For anything privacy related, email me at willearthwind@gmail.com.

What I collect and why

The contact form. Your name, email, phone number (if you give it), your message, and the date and time you sent it. It's stored in this site's own database and used to reply to you. If you tick the texting box, I also store the exact consent wording you agreed to, the time, and the network address and browser it came from, because that record is what lets me text you lawfully.

The application form. The "Work with me" page embeds an application hosted by a separate form service. What you enter there is stored by that service and shared with me so I can review it.

Server logs. Like every website, the server records basic technical details of each request (pages visited, time, browser type, network address) to keep the site running and protect it from abuse. They are kept briefly and not used for advertising.

No ad tracking. There is no advertising pixel or third-party tracking on this site. If I add privacy-respecting analytics later, this page will say so.

Text messages

If you opt in on the contact page, I may text you about AI resources, offers and follow-ups at the number you gave. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help. Your phone number and texting consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for the messaging provider that delivers the texts on my behalf.

Who else sees it

Only the services that keep this site running: the hosting provider, the database, the messaging provider (for texts), and the form service behind the application page. Each one processes data on my behalf and not for its own purposes. I don't sell or rent anything to anyone.

How long I keep it

Contact messages and consent records are kept for as long as I need them to reply to you, keep in touch, or show that you opted in. If you want your data deleted entirely, email me and it's done.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (the EU, UK, California, and other places), you may have legal rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to how it's used. Email me at willearthwind@gmail.com and I'll take care of it.

Children

This site is for adults and business owners. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent me something, email me and I'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything material gets a plain-English note here.
